Btw, for me dpp was the way out of the dps I hunted down when starting to watch porn. This left a bad taste I cannot get rid of. Just my consumer stance on dpp.

dunno really, i dont hate daps. Actually i watched Nikita Denise perform one from an old movie in my collection, cant remember the title. It was shot directly from behind with alot of close up and looked pretty impressive. Personally i prefer this oldschool way of shooting alot of the action directly from behind particuarly where anal and dp are involved. They mainly shoot it from an over the shoulder or side on view these days which shows more of the girl action but you dont get to see the penetration from a clear angle or the girls ass. Actually my favorite director for shooting dp was American director Jim Powers who used who would shoot the action directly from behind (or in front I guess if your talking about reverse cg) and once the pnetration started he would direct the girl to turn her head facing back to the camera and not hidden by the male talent pounding away at her, so we would get a clear shot of face as well. I'm shore he wasnt the only director who did this but i knew i could count on him to shoot this way in all of his dp scenes. If only i could get him to relocate to europe to shoot some euro talent, then maybe he could bring back the white trash whore series which was one of the great gangbang/dp series, with vanilla 2on1 dps for the first 2 scenes and an interracial gangbang with plenty of dp action to close the films off. That was a great formula. In conclusion i suppose i just guess i just prefer seeing the pussy stretched during penetration rather than the ass plus dpps seem to have more of a rarity factor as most directors seem to jump straight from dp to dap rather than shoot a dpp scene. Though there are some performers who have performed dpp instead of dp or dap to avoid performing anal, which is kind of interesting. Actually the DPPlist has still at least 3-400 more scenes of its genre than the DAPlist.
In my last update this April I got 1612 dap in total. End Nov 2009 the DPPlist got 1878 scene entries.

Dpp looks only rare since directors went to shoot porn in Russia in 2007. Thing is they discovered Russia as a talent pool - well Woodman was there already in the 90ties but his success wasnt big enough there to attract others to fellow his steps - when anal had definitely become a must for girls wanting to work in Europorn. Russian women have a different mentality. They use their body more pragmatically and decide to do more to get more money easier. This is why for the past 5-6 years it looks there is more dap available for the consumer than dpp.

Best known example is the legendary US star Amber Lynn. She started 1983 and did dpp 3 years later. Only in 2000 she did her first anal. Her first dp felloed the same year. She actually very successfully avoided giving up her ass. She did it at the age of 37 long past her prime at a point she just couldnt get much bookings anymore with pussy only.
