If i remember well (could russians on this forum confirm?), "Lada" is the name of a goddess in slavic mythology

Btw, the brand "mercedes" comes from the nickname of Emil Jelinek's daughter, he did this to make her forget her ugliness!

Finaly, even if i chose mercedes-benz, i'd rather choose Lada for a person's name
