What happend to the old "comment" threads?

forgive me if the question is already answered somewhere here in the forum but I couldn't find anything about it.

What happend to the old " comment" threads which used to have links on the models pages?

all I get is a "Oooops... File not found!"

I hope they are not lost forever????
Please tell me it's only a temporary problem.

Yep, they are gone (we kept a copy though).
The plan is to replace all of these by forum threads.

is there a chance of linking the "comments" to the new forum threads? or simply copying the text to the new threads?

I know many of the links in the comments are dead now but they included a lot of useful information.

no, too much spam and illegal filesharing was involved in those comments. thats why we removed them
