URLs in old threads are cut after editing

Hello.

I think there is a problem about URL display in all the old threads. Surely during the migration.

With the old forum, URLs were printed in full size:
Code: Select all
http://pics-hosting.com/viewer.php?file=isc28zg6qpxm61m3vdu.jpg

Now urls are shorted but stay clickable:
Code: Select all
http://pics-hosting.com/viewer.php?file ... 1m3vdu.jpg

When you try to edit URLs in old threads, they appear shorted and stay shorted after the editing.
So they become no clickable... :(

Any chance to fix that ? Thx in advance.

I've seen that happen after the upgrade to phpBB 3, in other cases it was sufficient to hit edit.

Anyway, Nop has the a full-page skin ready and Bunny will provide the logo, you people cannot say we ain't listing to your whin..., I mean requests.

That's because in the old forum links were stored as HTML code in the database
and now they are stored as BBCode
phpBB2/phpBB3 converter doesn't seem to handle that well.
When I have time, I will write a script to convert all old posts to new format.

Ok thx for replying. Anyway maybe you can find a script ready to use on phpBB3 official boards, surely this issue has been met & solved.

Mieux vaut tard que jamais :D

Thx, it's more confortable to edit old posts with shortened urls.
