Are you guys done with the migration process or is it still going on? If done, I think there might be something wrong with the search function. Whenever I do a "search", the results are very low (eg: searching for "bara" and I only get 2 results).

EDIT: I just did another search after posting that message and now there is 3 hit, including my last post here. Is the new search engine only indexing messages from migration time onward?

server seems lightning fast in every way. I love it! hopefully we will not see any more "too many connections" errors on forum database

Yes and I hope things won't slow to a halt like they used to when there were 100+ users on the system as it was prone to do.

I supose the fact that the server needed to be upgraded is a good indicator i.e. you need a bigger server as the sight gets more popular , which in this case is a good thing.

Congratulation, works well! :)
But what do you think, when is the indexing process finished?

I notice that a lot of attachments seem to be missing is this related?

here - http://www.eurobabeindex.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=12874

and also almost all of ²²STEMCELL³³ attachments seem to have died.

It will be fixed, the point was to move while keeping the forum on-line.

Indeed please be patient while I am fixing various tidbits which don't work quite well.
About indexing, I have just changed to another method of indexing.
