I just got an update on Little Caprice's condition and she is still in the hospital. For some unexplained reason, her kidneys are shutting down and the doctors have no idea why. Little Caprice is a good girl that does not drink and she does not take any drugs so the cause is a mystery. As of a week ago, one of her kidneys was only working at 12% and the other one was working at 88%. Now they are saying that her "good" kidney is also failing. She is in a good deal of pain and it seems to be getting worse. This is very scary because if they cannot figure out what is causing this failure, she will need a kidney transplant. Little Caprice is WAY TOO YOUNG for these kinds of problems. I will keep you posted as I find out more information, and we are wishing her a speedy recovery.
