How many Gigs of Porn do you need

Let me confess a little before I get too deep into this. I've been viewing / storing porn for some 17 + years dating back to the 286 / 386 /486 intel chip days. The big thing back in the early days was pictures and scanned images from magazines. I was into Hustler magazines back then and would archive my collection to my hard drive. As the PC industry kept getting better things eventually progressed to VHS video captures using a capture card. Same thing here, I would rip the scenes from my VHS tapes for easier access. It took a little while for the porn industry to move to DVD exclusively but I was right there with them when they did. Once again I would archive either an entire movie or just the scenes to hard disk using "divx / xvide" compression. Now we are into HD video quality movies which brings me to my question.. How much is too much porn. I got stuff from the early 90's right on up to today, and I'm finding myself not going back in the past to view any of that archived data. With the new HD movies and the quality of the girls getter better every year I'm starting to re-think how much of this stuff is worth saving. I've got 2 TB worth of files ( pics, videos ) and I think I'm at my limit. So I know I could clear out a good chunk of old video and pics that I rarely go back to, but I just can't bring myself to do it. Any advice from others in this situation. I know hard drives are cheap and I could always buy a USB drive and just move it off the system, but what I really want to do is force myself to have a size limit on how much pron I should keep. Get rid of all the mediocre / crappy scenes that I have collected over the years and just keep the best of the best and see how many Gig / TB that yields. Am I crazy for doing this? If you had to set a storage size limit on how much porn you kept, what would that size be?

As hard drive storage is so damn cheap, I save everything I get. Only stuff that I surely will never watch, is deleted.

I am a porn hoarder. I still have all my magazines dating back to the 80s. I recently transferred all of my burned cd-r and dvd-rs full of pics and movies onto a seperate HDD.

I too, wondered if i really need to keep some of them, but in the end i could not bring myself to deleting them, and with the price of HDDs relatively cheap, i will continue to add to my collection.

This whole business of hard drives choc full of porn is a lot more about our desire to hoard and store than any practical prospect - most of us would have to live to a thousand years old to have any chance of properly watching it all. I think we are kind of like a load of demented 'porn squirrels' digging away endless supplies of porn for some harsh 'winter' (ie period where porn will suddenly be otherwise unavailable) that just never ever comes, hehe

I suspect it's more to do with the modern use once and forget philosophy. People have fun downloading the porn (like a sort of foreplay) before "Enjoying" it.

Then we leave it on the drive like some discarded gadget left in a cupboard rather than get rid of it . Thinking that we'll use it again as it's still perfectly good for purpose but we've got so use to the foreplay part that we never use it again preferring to get more.

I guess by that analysis we'll only ever have increasing storage requirements so there would be no upper limit.

I am new to Eurobabes and just looking around getting my bearings....Now many gigs of porn do we need?
I might say "where does it end?" I have 8,000 files. I started years ago editing the videos into smaller files. What I wanted was a collection , especially if I can get a babe's first shoot and follow her through her career. Even after editing I have over 200 gigs on exterior hard drives.
