No. Depends on the person. How you treat yourself makes a tremendous difference. The health nut types often don't have to. The ones that do the drugs, smoke and alcohol often have to have some sort of prescription help after some years of that lifestyle. Smoking in particular causes a problem after about ten to twenty years.
Some guys can "keep in up" for hours on their own. Others have trouble lasting 5 minutes. And everything in between.
Oddly enough, a factor that is often ignored is getting enough electrolytes, sodium and potassium. A lot of actors lift weights and otherwise stay in shape and they sweat out the salts. If they don't replace them, it can make a tremendous difference in both achieving an erection and maintaining it. Drugs that cause diarrhea and one's overall intestinal health make a difference that way, too. Diarrhea can cause a loss of electrolytes, sometimes severely, and that can make an erection impossible. Our anti-salt mania doesn't help that.
