Talkin' bout guitars i also have one among the 3 basses.
It's a cheap, Corean made, copy of this one Ernie Ball below.
It really doesn't sound all that good...
And if you hit hard on the trem bar have the nasty tendence to go out of tune quite quickly...
but i payed it 100 euro...and it looks EVH !!!

Mine is red...
and don't have the 5150 stickers on...for now

I bought a 30" monitor instead and a new AV receiver. I wasn't made for greatness.

The problem with having an electric guitar is then you have to find or start a band. Did you ever notice how musicians and responsibility just don't seem to go together?

Well, you could do home recording, but it's just not the same. Or you could jam with your friends, assuming they don't all live way across town. The fun quotient gets pretty low when you have to spend hours in traffic and lug your gear all around. Better to get an acoustic and serenade the ladies as they pass underneath your balcony - you do have a balcony, don't you?

I just want to own a fine guitar or two, as a collector, self-deprecation is an extra and will always be there.

4.52AM Radio:

"And all your two-bit friends
Have gone and ripped you off
They're talking behind your back saying, man
You're never going to be no human being..."

I've got blisters on me fingers!

Seriously, if you want a conversation piece then a signature guitar from somebody you like is the logical choice.

This is stereotyping...
I play bass since 1985 when i was 15 years old.
I've played with at least 10 different bands and right now i'm still playing with 2...
And I'm a very responsibile person...almost

My original question was about Jaguars and Jazzmasters, Vox's too, where to buy them, I could fancy a JM played by Kevin Shields or a brand new model, I just don't know good online stores, auction sites, places to go (Florence, Milan, London are all good).

Here:
http://www.nicksmusic.it/niccolai/home.htm

In Pisa (San Giovanni alla Vena)
They used to have a store also in Florence but i see now that they have closed it.
You can go and have a live look if they have the model you like...

Best prices in italy are probably here:
http://www.merula.com/

It's in Bra near Cuneo...not exactly around the corner but once you have made up your mind
on the exact model you want it may be worth some hour drive.

I usually don't buy music instruments online or from foreign stores, i always want to at least try them once first if i can, even if i'll end up
paying more, so apart from the already mentioned mercatino musicale and e-bay i don't know other auction places.
