Watchmen The Movie: yeah or meh?

The movie feels a bit cramped because of all the stuff they tried to save from the source material, it's not a "miracle adaptation" like LA Confidential, to mention another "impossible to shoot" project but I still liked it a lot.
There are great performances from the cast (seriously, Malin is also brilliant as usual), especially from Jackie Earle Haley and Jeffrey Dean Morgan and the opening sequence alone is worth the ticket price (that I didn't pay anyway). Cool trailers too, the new Star Trek trailer, Terminator.

Personally, I thought it was fantastic. I think its sooooo odd that the critics panned it everyone I know who has seen it loved it. If you havent seen it, do. Seeing Malin's ass is worth the price of the ticket but there is soooooo much more to see in the movie.

Yeah for sure! Great movie, but make sure you go pee first since it's over 2 and a half hours long.

And be prepared for the blue penis. I'm so sick of people complaining about the blue penis. Why would someone/thing all knowing worry with pants? I barely put my pants on in the morning and I'm just a silly man who isn't all knowing and shit.
