I see Caroline-NL as the kind of enthusiastic (female) poster who signs up at EBI, contributes some interesting posts e.g. in Nonsense, only to receive a luke-warm response, and hence quickly decides that this is not the right place for her.

Perhaps, and I do not know but maybe Laura can comment on this. But perhaps the GAPE and DAP heavy topics are a little off putting for most female posters? I know that is a wild generalization but what I mean is, forums like Viv Thomas forum and even ADT have a lot more female posters than here. But then they are not as passionate about all the DAP, TAP, GAPE and GUKMALE stuff that is often highlighted and worshipped here?

I think the heavy topics (gape, DAP etc) could be off putting to some female visitors to this site. Obviously I don't know, it's just my opinion.
Laura is very open minded so is willing to talk about stuff just like most of us guys here. I'd imagine there are many women who enjoy alot of the hard stuff but just wouldn't want to really talk about it.
Also, how many people, not just women, know about this site compared to the likes of ADT?
