I know, croy and others still think Lance Armstrong, Floyd Landis, Jan Ulrich and others never took anything else than milk and honey to achieve their victories.
The rest of us clueless Europeans, shouldn´t we erase all these criminals from the TdF.

Stopping the tour? No!
Improve the doping tests, make sure that those who are unreachable for testing get treated like those who actually dope? Hell, yes!
Plus make the ban for those who got caught not just 2 years, but life! And have the sponsors make sure that all money paid to the team has to be paid back by the team, once doping is proven.

I disagree so much with you guys
I consider bikers very courageous about what is happening now.
if you read the news you've heard about the way they stopped the lawsuits in spain when a guy said he met many football players in the docs office in madrid.
woaw dont touch to the liga!stop the judge the king is upset!his "real" bs is in danger..
and I remember the time when all the players(but frenchs like thuram who were not there) of Parma had been caught with blood a bit upper-normal...
Do I need to talk about basket-ball and guys 2m20 tall that are able to play like they have a body of a kenyan runners?..
I mean tdf try to make it clean.FIFA doesnt,NBA doesnt and NFL is so funny about it...

Well, you're right, it's not just the Tour or the Giro or the Vuelta.
What I mean is that the myth of the biker as a superman that knows no fear is a bit phony nowadays.
I come from a country, Italy, that still idolizes bikers as heroes, Bartali, Coppi, Moser. Bartali used to live in my block and people looked at him as you look at a national hero. But God only knows what juices they were on, back then. Coppi's death was a shady one and rumors abound.
I just don't believe in the myth of sacrifice and fatigue of the humble biker anymore, considering how many TDF winners have been suspended or even arrested (one of them even committed suicide).
They should be considered as Barry Bonds. We know that he's a phony but the circus can't stop so we accept him and we're accepting all his records.
