Posted: Thu Mar 19, 2009 5:46 pmThe movie feels a bit cramped because of all the stuff they tried to save from the source material, it's not a "miracle adaptation" like LA Confidential, to mention another "impossible to shoot" project but I still liked it a lot.
There are great performances from the cast (seriously, Malin is also brilliant as usual), especially from Jackie Earle Haley and Jeffrey Dean Morgan and the opening sequence alone is worth the ticket price (that I didn't pay anyway). Cool trailers too, the new Star Trek trailer, Terminator.

I've heard good & bad reviews for it, I guess I'll have to judge for myself.
The lastest film I've seen is Seven Pounds. Not everyone's cup of tea but I was impressed with it. Yeah, I got all emotional.

Posted: Thu Mar 19, 2009 6:28 pmPersonally, I thought it was fantastic. I think its sooooo odd that the critics panned it everyone I know who has seen it loved it. If you havent seen it, do. Seeing Malin's ass is worth the price of the ticket but there is soooooo much more to see in the movie.
