Heresy.
If you had to combine genres, than the combo jazz-blues is a way more natural match than blues-funk.

I have to sooth my nerves right now by listening to some Blind Willie Johnson tracks. 8)

I picked "Hip/Hop - RapDance/Techno/HouseTrance and other Electro music", even though I'm not too fond of techno and I don't like commercial dance or commercial rap.

Here's a list of people that I hate from the bottom of my heart and that I'd like to hit with a club until they're manure:

Pearl Jam
Coldplay
Snow Patrol
Stereophonics
Kaiser Chiefs
James Blunt
Good Charlotte
My Chemical Romance
P. Diddy
Kanye West
50 Cent
Eminem
U2
Jack White

rap's been a big part of my interests..

but i disagree with the poster above, kanye west's music is extremely listenable, there really is very little to hate about him musical-wise. and eminem has produced some impressive records back in the day. and i do agree most commercial rap is crap.

i like bits and pieces of all of them. i can't really choose just one.. but i voted for world/indie etc. i've recently been listening to Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros' album Global A Go-Go. wish Joe was still around...
