....anyway this is the first song that popped into my head in response to the CCR (not that I have any problem with CCR - far from it). It's just that this seemed to be the most diametrically opposed piece of music I could think of (and I like it).

Well I guess it depends on how you define ownership. Robert wrote it, sang it, and who's heard of Matching Mole these days?

Do you know why Matching Mole is the best pun employed in the service of a band name?

Anyway, if I'd called it a Matching Mole track I wouldn't have been able to use the Wyatting intro.

Modern and Contemporary Classical music often make this effect... and besides that, apart that it usually takes some time to get into, it's another clear case of you either love or hate scenario.

Well I am not a great fan of classics at all but I do like music with melody. M Varese doesn't seem to give you much in the way of melody.

I do quite like like some Nyman (mostly in film soundtracks), Gershwin, Copland and Randy Newman's film work (but then I worship Mr Newman).
