First, testing is not designed to prevent infection, it is designed to minimize the spread of infection by identifying carriers and isolating them from the general population. That is to say, it will not prevent any particular European porn performer from contracting HIV any more than it prevented American performers from doing so.

Second, nowhere has the CDC compared the sexual activities of porn performers with the activities of the general population. Nor am I aware of any comparative analysis done by a comparable European institution, if there even is one. But fact is that the risk of infection is still very low for porn performers, simply because porn performers are much more aware of the health risks and get tested much more often than the general public. Information policy in Russia is a vast and complete other subject, cleopatroux.
