I remember the early days of pornstar twitter, girls like nikki benz would get angry for being called whore/slut and they would protest that they are actresses and condemn prostitution. Now literally half pornstars on twitter have slut/whore posted on bios and call themselves human toilets.

i think this is because of the sultwalk/sultshaming movement for the idea ownership of the terms like sult whore etc.

From what I've seen, its generally the less attractive and nearing the career end type pornstars who did extreme scenes, we had few rare girls that looked as good as sasha grey doing blowbangs/gangbangs.
The Riley reid generation which was around 2010 and so forth is when that shift started happening where you had total smoke shows doing bukkakes/blowbangs/gangbangs. DP scenes are now just normal, gangbangs are like something every girl does in her career, blowbangs/bukkakes as well.

I think there are several causes for this. Free porn sites like PornHub/Xhamster, Piracy (paid content uploaded to various storage/hosting to be downloaded for free), and lots of amateur porn. Amateur porn has increasingly become more popular and basically costs nothing to make, which has made pro-porn content less attractive. Almost nobody buys hard copies (BluRay/DVD) for movies & porn anymore.
