Ryan Babel

I'm a Liverpool fan and we've just signed Ryan Babel. Other than watching him in the Under-21 European Championships, I don't know an awful lot about him. What do the Dutch guys here think of him? Worth the 16million euros?

Fiorentina bought Vieri for 1.5 a year and he's 40 and 150 kilos.

In my opinion no one is worth 16 million euro's. (but that's another discussion I guess).

Ryan is a very good player, but last season it wasn't that good as the year before. He had some injuries and lost his place in the basicteam.
In the Under 21 European championship we have seen a lot of good things from him, but he have to learn to play constant on the same high level.
