This Action / Crime / Thriller was highly announced to be entertaining.

Hmmm, well, entertained I was by this movie. At least somehow. On the other hand I am still not sure whether I liked this movie or not.

Honestly there was a little bit too much violence, a little bit overuse of the "f..."-word, and a littly lack of logic. Which generally is ok for me, because I actually rather take this kind of movies as some Comedy, but nonetheless, with this one - right now - I am rather a little bit disappointed.

Did you see it?

What is your impression?

i saw it, after having read all the bad critics from rottentomatoes.com...
well it wasnt that bad, some moments are really enjoyable.
but yeah, i agree with mr White: not sure if i liked it.
it's like a patchwork of 3-4 movies.
and i saw Narc from the same director, and ... it doesnt look like his movie at all. Narc was really good and serious and tense. This movie is more about entertainment, and there's no real tension. You dont really care about any character. and the plot is really silly.

didnt see any naked chick, except a scene where there s a strung out hooker topless on the floor. alicia keys has zero topless scene, and she looks a bit fat in the movie. i saw her in a concert video, she looked the hottest, in the movie, she looks pretty but plump.

dont get me started with the guns. the trio of degenerate fucks have WWII guns! there s the now over-cliche .50 caliber rifle too. plus, the standard fake chromed silencer gun making its "pew pew" ridiculous sound.

but hey other than that, it s the same level of entertainment than die hard 4. not that theres anything wrong with that.

I actually found this a totally dire movie on par with crank. Only bit that I really liked was the fact they decided to kill Ben Affleck about 10 mins into the movie... Pity it wasn't permanent.

Die Hard 4.0 was kinda cool although most of the technical aspects of it regarding hacking and whatnot was stupid. Uploading a virus into a pc to set off a bomb was a tad stupid and if these hackers were so elite, how the hell did they get a virus to install anyway. Plus, find me a single hacker in the world who would have a system crash and hit's the escape key... lol. I dont think I have ever used the escape key on this PC.

Bourne Ultimatum was interesting and on par with the other Bournes. Actually, on par with part one but better than part two imho. I think Die Hard 4.0 was probably better but BU was an okay movie.

Another that I have seen recently is the Condemned. Errmm, WTF. Surely they could have done a bit better than this. Maybe asking the camera guy to hold the camera still for a few seconds might have improved it, but then again then there would be no action. And wow, 40 million people all downloading a high quality full screen movie feed at the same time on the internet. Holy cow, give that server to AEBN or Hotstream please.... LOL
