I didn't know about George sampling it but i recognized it at the end...
And Patrice Rushen was a curiosity i knew since i've heard "Man in Black" great bass line
Will Smith has cannibalized everything from James Brown to the Missing Persons

I've always had a lot of respect for George, you could recognize a top songwriter even in the Wham days.

Being a "metal head" back in the days i've never really been a big fan of George's music but the talent was clearly there...
And opposed to many top "Pop Stars" of the 80' he could go out on stage and sing great.
