Not getting reply notification emails.

Hi,

I'm not getting reply notification emails. Any ideas why?

My profile's email address is correct, my profile says 'yes' to 'Always notify me of replies', and I always make sure that the 'Notify me when a reply is posted' box is ticked when making posts.

What else could it be?

Could someone also tell me what email address reply notifications come from, so that I can make sure my email account is not blocking them?

We have banned all Google mail addresses because of spammers.
It's probably the reason why you don't get any reply.

I did not get a notification that there had been a reply. Here's what I suspect may be the problem.

Could it be when your email address is changed you get a notification email which needs to be responded to to confirm the change and I did not receive this since it was sent to my googlemail address?

My profile lists my non-googlemail address but I am still not receiving reply notifications. There have been at least 2 replies to threads which I have subscribed to since changing my address from googlemail, and no notifications have been received.

Mods please help !!

Also I still need to be told the email address that notifications are sent from so that I can make sure my email server lets them through (though I doubt this is the problem).

Damn board gremlins. But just to support the validity and non-isolated nature (ie not just him & not just subbed threads notices) of the issues described above I have found that I don't receive emails from PM's as I have received a few however days-later I may have noticed them. Have the email notice checked ans also I use Comcast's email service & not the baby-eating Google's.

Thanks noproblemo. Can you tell me what email address 'reply notifications' are sent from, maybe if I add that to my server's email 'white list', the notifications will come through - even if not I'd better add it anyway.
