would it be possible to have the links below always visible with any site layout?
That would save a lot of clicks, because if one replies to a post, returning to the new posts overview means clicking on board index again before "View new posts" is displayed.

Heh, I'll take take opportunity to hassle Nop with another feature request.

I usually use the view new posts to check out thread that have been updated. When I am done reading the new posts, I click mark forums read. But if you try to use view new posts again, you will see couple of already read/viewed posts.

Is it possible to make it that only thread/post that you have not read appear using view new posts?

Also, adding the View unanswered posts • View new posts • View active topics • Mark forums read functionality anywhere in the forum & sub-forums is a really good idea, less useless clicking.

Adding View unanswered posts • View new posts • View active topics on every page should be straightforward
but removing posts marked as read in the forum from view new posts would mean tweaking the code of phpBB3
so it's not that easy...
