WMV to AVI or MPEG

Does anybody knows a freeware WMV to AVI or MPEG program ?

TMPGenc by Pegasys is the best. They have a freeware version available also which is very good.

I use version 4.0 express and it does most of what I need it to (this is a paid for version). I would also recommend Main Concept convertors but I do not think free versions exist for this software (the paid version is again very fast and powerful).

If your plan is to make S/VCD though, then you will not go wrong with TMPGenc, trust me.
