Oh and since this seems to be the "advice" thread (on-topic or not) I guess I'll go now. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders and this particular post here I quoted is just 1 anomally out of the other more presentable posts in this thread as it's hasty sloth-iness is unbeffittting. Moving on, MY advice to not just you and not to put you on the spot .....or maybe better yet....my "non-pointed, not-meant-to-be-insulting-to-anyone-in-particular" comment is that the "state" of a post reflects one's sincerity & enthusiasm at being here. Perhaps this "state" is as far reaching as to help in dissecting one's underlying character & work ethic (messageboard psychology, I'll bet, will be a college major one day). So to my thesis...

One who doesn't seem to care enough to make the effort to hit that extra key (i.e. "Shift") in order to capitalize the first letters of sentences, the personal article "I" and other such aesthetics & such else, are either laughing right now or their wittle head is hurting. The former - no matter how many times they have to read it to get there - and interaction with such is why I do this. The latter and associated cruel satisfaction & joy I get is why I enjoy it so much.

Missed this one as per my above explanation & as I psychologically block out posts in this "state" normally. But since it's you & only you & further expresses such noble & kind intent, I give the benefit of the doubt, consider you a "trial" buddy, & so will therefore perhaps save you some time.

To that end & as I've stated though not directly, Zoe is "above" messageboard trolling & posting - not to insult anyone again, but it's as true & as a seemingly "crass, cold & rude" reality just as it is also the case for Jesus Christ - as she transforms into a beautiful butterfly and flies back to Mt. FYI there's tons of info and input per your topic. Hypothetically speaking, perhaps showing up less than almost a week later to check it out and maybe responding, adding, &/or countering such input sooner thereafter (ie sooner than a week thereafter I mean) might better stear the thread in a more desired/preferred direction.

But I'm no authority of course as your sulking & bitching out mods method might work better. We'll have to wait and see I suppose as we've no other choice as the time to test the possible effectiveness of aforementioned "participation" method has long passed. However, the truly determined might be able take the reigns up and re-align this puppy - but of course that takes a bit of balls & guts.

With respect to this particular thread that I started, the reference framework that I had in mind was the "Sex Talk" forum at the "Adult DVD Talk" site. At SexTalk posters ask all kind of questions on sex or relations matters, to which other posters can respond. Now if you check out a couple of the longer threads over there, you will probably appreciate the quality of the content and the friendly tone. I think it would be nice if this would also be possible at EBI. However I realize that EBI is in many ways different from ADT.

+ I think EBI has a more casual, relaxed atmosphere than ADT. That is because ADT is an American site. And while obviously the vast majority of the American posters at ADT are liberal in a moral sense (porn, abortion, prostitution etc), the fact is that about 50 % of them have conservative political convictions regarding crime and punishment, security, war, torture etc. This is also reflected in very negative sentiments about other countries (Middle-East), their leaders, and international organisations (UN, Red Cross, Amnesty International). And there are also negative sentiments towards foreigners posting at ADT. Sadly the moderators and administrators at ADT think is normal. So the right-wing clan around Billy Bathgate, Croy, Greg, Harri Patel, Dean Wormer, Katsirk, Raoul Duke can write as they please, even insulting other posters, without being corrected. On the other hand European posters, such as I, had to be extremely careful. One wrong word and your account is deactivated. This has in fact happened to several European posters. They wrote something harmless that irritated Steph, and therefore they were banned.

+ I also like the fact that EBI focuses on European porn and actresses. At ADT most of the posters have zero interest in non-American porn. Of course this may have something to do with the technical details of DVDs(PAL versus NTSC, region 0 versus region 1).

- I do think ADT at its best, e.g. forums like Porn Pool and Sex Talk, tends to be broader in scope than EBI and have more interesting discussions. That is why I find it kind of difficult to find my way at this forum.

I agree on the right-wing posters part but, more in general, ADT is a vaster community than here, being a moderator there can be really tough.
Here you're free to post whatever you want, it really depends on you. But you can't expect the same community and the same user-base.
