Only two i still listen to sometimes are Soundgarden (up to Bad Motorfinger)
and mostly Alice in Chains.
The latters where probably the most interesting of all the bunch...very dark low pitched guitars, intricate
and well layered rhythmic patterns and the low atmosferic and sometimes slightly dissonant vocals of
the sadly departed Layne Staley.
Their first LP "Facelift" remains a little masterpiece in the genere.
She had that Camarillo Brillo, flamin' out along her head...
