I would say that's the point - the picture looks too professional, everything is clean and sharp, the picture is esthetically perfect(probably), but this is exactly what makes it more lifeless.
Look for example at old Jimena scenes at Putalocura, the lighting there is lower, and the picture looks kinda dirtier and a bit amateur, and it feels like more natural for all the dirtiness going on there
But, it's still matter of taste. But maybe a poll with pictures for comparison, will make it clearer of what most people prefer to see.
