Congratulations for Russia.
No doubt about. They were the best in tonights game. The Netherlands just didn't play the game they did against Italy and France.
Offcourse I'm disappointed, but the best team won tonight.
Now I'm a fan of Russia and I hope they become European Champion.

Before the Euro took off, I listened to an radio essay of Austrian author Franz Zobel, who said that as bad the German team play football, their major advantage is when the game starts they act with a strong chest and the feeling they can beat any other nation.
Whereas Austria, Switzerland, The Netherlands, if you watch their body language they´re acting like scaredy-pants.
There seem to some truth in his word.
I fear, the current world champion could win the Euro as well, though I also would like to see Russia not only winnning the Euro Song contest, but the hardcore version=football as well.
Where is Luba by the way? Is she with the Russian players and spoiling them, because they play so dirty this year?

I had Turkey off the list, because the polling system with EBI has maximum of poll options.
I should have taken Turkey instead of Greece who died in disgrace this year.

Oh man what a fucking beautiful day. The team who's only aim is not to get a goal and maybe god will shoot one on the other side drove home. That's a good day for offensive football. Now Spain vs. Russia, I have high hopes for that game!

The Guidos are out, now Stemcell is happy .
The opposite scenario (Spain out) would have been scary.
As I've said many times Italy's not worse than other teams (England is not even here, Neds and Portugual are out after a disappointing quarter-finals), but today it was the Italians as we knew them in the 60's-70's.
