Wow, do you know that he's something like a God to all crazy guitarero freaks like me? Technical nobody can reach him and for me he also has the right feeling and spirit in his playing. I'm really jealous now. Did you ever heard DT live?

I remember he did some high speed improvising, accompanied by a drum machine, using unconventional scales that
litteraly blew away all the people present...
I was with a friend of mine, wich is really a virtuoso guitarist himself, and the word he used the most
during that day was "unbelievable"

I also saw the clinic of Mike Portnoy wich is an awsome drummer but i've never seen the whole band...
Wich i regret because, as a bass player, john Myung use of fretless bass should be a great thing to see and hear live.

The whole band consists of fucking great muscians. Jordan Rudess is one of the best keyboarders I've ever heard, and yes Mike Portnoy is a very awesome drummer. The only one the opinions are very different about is the singer, James La Brie. But I like his voice, in my opinion he's also very talented.

I'm not objective when it comes to bass players, this isn't my instrument at all. But Manowar's bass player was very good, it's something different if you hear a bass solo instead of always guitar solos, and Joey DeMaio usually played one at live gigs.

Yeah !!! I used to play covers of "Blood of my enemies" and "Kill with Power" during my metal years...
Joey DeMaio knows his craft very well.

Personally I also have mixed opinions on DT singer.
Sometimes seems to me that his vocal lines are a little out of the
context from the rest of the band...
His skills are without question though.

My last one I can remeber was 1990 if I remember right. Aerosmith and Whitesnake were the Headliners.
Never heard of Porcupine Tree before, but the music sounds good. I think I should have a look on them.

Quireboys was a fucking great dirty little band
And Faith No More's album "The Real Thing" is still one of the best CDs in my shelfs.

This is the band who brought me from "normal" Metal to the prgressive style. The first 6 albums all are masterpieces.
